Speaker Notes for 27 October 2009
WBro. Timothy Bonney will present a paper on
"The Power and Promise of Freemasonry." His paper is a short exposition of
what he believes to be the great strengths of the Masonic fraternity and the
promising future of our Craft if we can focus on what makes Masonry great.
Timothy Bonney is Master of Specialis Procer U.D. A.F.& A.M., a
European Concept lodge in Des Moines, Iowa. Specialis Procer is to be
constituted as Specialis Procer Lodge No. 678 on September 25, 2009.
Brother Bonney was initiated, passed, and raised in Phoenix Lodge No.
62 F.&A.M. in Rushville, Indiana in 2000. He is also Past Master of
Daylight Lodge No. 660 and a plural member of Acanthus Lodge No. 632,
both in Des Moines. Bonney is also an active member of the Des Moines
Scottish Rite and York Rite bodies, and was most recently installed
Grand Chaplain of the Grand Council of Royal and Select Masters of
Iowa.
